South Port Beach
South Port sits where the Onkaparinga River meets the coast, offering river-mouth scenery and a surf beach distinct from Port Noarlunga’s jetty precinct. It is a striking place to watch the coast and an established destination for surfing. The pin marks the Weatherald Terrace end of the pedestrian footbridge across the Onkaparinga River. Follow the public walking route towards the surf-club dunes and beach. This is a walking approach, not a road to the sand. River-mouth currents and surf conditions can be hazardous: check signs and current patrol advice, and keep river and ocean meeting points distinct.
