Myponga Beach
Myponga Beach is a small cove between grassy bluffs, with a creek, lagoon and traces of its former port. It suits a coastal stop and a walk on a more compact stretch of beach than the long sands further north. Approach via Myponga Beach Road; the pin follows the official visitor map for this foreshore destination. Parking and public toilets are listed for the precinct. The beach is unpatrolled, with rocks and reef at its edges. Check conditions before entering the water and keep clear of boat activity. Beach entry is free. Before visiting, check current beach advice and algal-bloom updates: https://www.algalbloom.sa.gov.au/ Photo 1: Luke Anderson from Adelaide, Australia — CC BY 2.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0).
