Encounter Bay Beach — Franklin Parade

The Encounter Bay foreshore offers coastal views and a walking outing close to Victor Harbor. Visit the Franklin Parade shoreline for a walk beside the bay; Encounter Lakes is a separate inland destination. Meet at Kent Reserve on Franklin Parade, then follow the foreshore path and designated crossings to the shoreline. The pin marks the reserve approach. This is the coastal bay, not the separate inland Encounter Lakes. Different parts of the bay have different shore and water conditions; check signs before entering the water.
