Carrickalinga Beach
Carrickalinga offers a long sandy shore backed by a foreshore reserve, with Haycock Point and a rocky headland defining the surrounding coast. It suits a beach walk and a slower Fleurieu outing. The pin marks the public foreshore car park on Gold Coast Drive. Follow designated crossings to the sand and keep out of dune vegetation. Rocks and headlands have different conditions from the main sandy beach; check tides and signs before exploring beyond it.
