Boomer Beach
Boomer Beach is part of Port Elliot’s exposed surfing coast, with an open-ocean outlook and a very different feel from Horseshoe Bay. Experienced surfers and bodyboarders are the audience identified by the visitor centre. A land-based visit can focus on the scenery and watching the waves. Use marked public crossings, check access signs and avoid assuming surf conditions suit beginner swimmers. Arrive at the Boomer Beach car park off Railway Terrace near Carfax Street. Use the designated pedestrian crossing and beach approach; the access includes steps. Before visiting, check current beach advice and algal-bloom updates: https://www.algalbloom.sa.gov.au/ Photo: Expedia / Boomer Beach gallery.
